The US Embassy in Ghana has sent a congratulatory message to President-elect Johhn Dramani Mahama and Ghanaians at large.
The statement comes after the NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia conceded defeat to the former president in this year’s general elections held on December 7.
“We commend all of the candidates that stood for election this cycle and their commitment to peaceful elections and the transfer of power as so eloquently expressed in Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s concession speech” the statement added.
