The Volta Regional Fire Command has replicated its HAZMAT training in all District Fire Stations as part of efforts to build the capacity of Personnel to better manage incidents related to hazardous materials (HAZMATS) in the region.
Personnel of the Akatsi and Peki Fire Stations have successfully gone through their HAZMAT Training.
The training is to continue in the other remaining District Fire Stations as well.
According to management, the nationwide training exercise forms part of plans to ensure cases of fire outbreaks are reduced to their minimum as the dry season approaches.
