The Minister for Communications and Digitalisation MoCD), Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful (MP), today, inaugurated the Korea – Ghana Information Access Centre (IAC), a project meant to enhanced ICT accessibility globally at the University of Health and Allied Science (UHAS), Ho in the Volta Region.
This follows the historic signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Ghana and the Government of South Korea on November 5th 2021.
The project comprises:
a) An ICT/Internet lounge installed with thirty-two (32) computer terminal and a 16 -seater Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) facility.
b) An ICT training room installed with twenty-eight (28) high-end computer terminals and beam projector.
c) A seminar room fitted with video conferencing facilities.
d) A server room for CCTV monitoring and dedicated Wi-Fi services
e) A multimedia studio fitted with a 4K broadcast, studio lights, and high graphics computing terminal for video production and graphics editing and
f) A well-furnished administrative office.
