The Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has commenced a new initiative to replace all blackboards in public schools with marker boards.
According to reliable information, phase 1 covers all Junior High Schools and Senior High Schools and are to be completed in November, 2022.
However, phase 2 of the initiative will target all basic schools within the municipality.
The MP in a Facebook post indicated teachers and learners deserve improved, healthier conditions even as locals get more jobs.
Despite the many investment made by government to improve the quality of education in the country, it is disturbing to see teachers using the old methods of teaching learners especially those in rural areas.
