Hundreds of flood victims in the South Dayi enclave of the Volta Region have been registered onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
Others have had their expired membership renewed by a team from the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) South Dayi District office.
The mass registration and renewal exercise was necessitated by the flood caused by spillage from the Akosombo Dam which affected hundreds of people.
The victims lost their cherished belongings including NHIS membership cards.
