The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, paid an unannounced visit to the Births and Deaths Regional Office on Monday 10th February 2025 to familiarize himself with their operations and assess their working conditions.
During the visit, he met with the Regional Director, Mr. Christopher Ayertey, and other staff members. The Regional Director took the opportunity to explain the department’s processes and highlighted some of the key challenges they face in their daily operations.
Hon. Gunu commended the staff for their dedication and assured them of his commitment to supporting the department in any capacity possible to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
The Minister’s visit reaffirmed his hands on leadership approach and dedication to improving essential public services in the Volta Region.
