Executives of the Sovie branch of the National Democratic Congress led the former Deputy Youth Organiser, Edem Agbana to honor an invitation from Madam Adzowor Nanewortor, believed to be aged over 120 years, in Sokpakorfe, a community in the Ketu North Municipality.
Adzowor Nanewortor, despite her age, exudes immense strength, resilience, and optimism, and has been the focal point of age-old wisdom in the locality.
“The gray hair of experience,” the Bible says, “is the splendor of the old and therefore in honor of her invitation, Mr. Agbana was privileged to receive her blessings and prayers ahead of my parliamentary primaries, and invaluable lessons of wisdom, courage, and tenacity to guide my pursuits and transform our constituency for the better.
He indicated taht “To the blessed Adzowor, the secret to the blessings of long life lies in eschewing bitterness from one’s heart and embracing all with a clean heart, regardless of identity, creed, and affiliation”.
According to him, though relatively short, the time spent with her was filled with timeless lessons in humility and leadership.
“I couldn’t have asked for more. It is my singular wish that she lives long enough to share the priceless wisdom that old age offers with us and to harness the fruits of her efforts and investments in our constituency” Comrade Edem Agbana added.
