The Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV has applauded NDC flagbearer John Mahama for his proposed 24-hour economy policy, and zeal to revive the country’s economy and youth policy.
He identified the former President’s 24-hour economy policy as a panacea to help recover Ghana’s ailing economy, create jobs, and increase the country’s foreign exchange through exports when implemented in the manufacturing sector.
Togbe Afede made the remarks when Mr Mahatma called on the Asogli state as part of his 4-day tour to the Volta region.
The 24-hour economy policy mentioned by the NDC flagbearer has generated a lot of debate as tp whether it can help deal with the growing unemployment rate in Ghana.
