The Volta Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service will arrest and refuse vehicles without effective fire extinguishers access to Fuel and Gas Filling Stations in Ho by the end of January, 2023.
In this light, Drivers with vehicles without functional and befitting fire extinguishers have up to the end of January, 2023 to comply.
This was made known by the Volta Regional Fire Commander, ACFO I Joy Ameyibor Ayim during a routine fire safety inspection and sensitization exercise in Ho during the Christmas holidays.
According to him, such a move will help deal with any possible fire outbreak and ensure both the drivers and passengers are safe.
