Residents of Koforidua in the Eastern Regional Capital have shared their various experience on valentine day celebrations.
According to them, valentine celebration is meant to demonstrate love to families, friends, co-workers, and to strengthen human relations.
Speaking to Bryt FM news, majority of the public say that it is an annual festival to celebrate romantic love, friendship and admiration.
Others were also of the view that they will visit their various churches to pray to the Almighty God for more favor, protection and love.
Expressing their experience, some traders at the Kofridua Central market affirmed that valentine’s day is a celebration of love that is observed every year on February 14 when lovers express their affection with greetings and gifts.
‘‘Valentine’s Day is now considered as an occasion to celebrate beautiful human relationships’’ they said.
The reporter indicates that many people seen were dressed with valentine romantic color (red) in Koforidua and are poised to celebrate the occasion after work.
