Traders of Koforidua cry of how the current economic hardship in Ghana has led to poor sales of vegetables.
Mujahidatu Mohammed of Bryt FM in an interaction with vegetable traders at Pentoawala on Monday brought to bear the suffering these traders go through.
Some complained that despite the fact that price of tomato is very cheap nowadays, patronise has gone down due to the economic hardship.
“Some vegetables like pepper, onion, okra and garden eggs are scarce and so are expensive to buy” some shared their worries.
Meanwhile, they expect sales to jump high as we prepare for this year’s elections and the Christmas celebration as well.
