Ras Kuuku has endorsed Black Sherif as the winner of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2023, which will be announced on Friday.
Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, KiDi, Piesie Esther, and Joe Mettle are the competitors in this year’s edition.
But music fans believe that Piesie Esther and Black Sherif are the top contenders for that particular honor.
The Gospel fraternity have declared that Peisie Esther should be named Artiste of the Year due to the hardwork she put into her act under the year of review.
However, Blacko merits the honor more than any of the other nominees, according to Ras Kuuku and others who believes the artist has done more to deserve the recognition.
He clarified this in a Facebook post, writing that it is not a matter of religion for anyone to insist that Piesie Esther win.
His post reads: “Truth is One… My younger Brother deserves the Artist of the Year…It’s not a churchical business.”
