Assistant trainer of Inter Allies Tony Lokko has said that the exit of their star man Victorien Adebayor will cause a major upset in the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Nigerien import joined Danish 1st Division side HB Koge on a three-year deal this summer and according to Lokko, his departure will have a negative impact on the team in the forthcoming season.
“His departure has affected us big time but we are doing our possible best to replace in though we are yet to get his replacement. His exit is just like Ronaldo leaving your team, definitely, a vacuum is created” he told Bryt FM in Koforidua.
“We are working tirelessly to replace him before the season start. We want to put up a team that can be winning always” he added.
Inter Allies will lock horns with Dreams FC in matchday one of the Ghana Premier League slated for November 12.
