Some delegates at Tano North and South have decided not to vote if the money allocated for them by Kennedy Agyapong is not shared evenly.
According to them, monies that money meant for water and transport by the presidential aspirant Hon. Kennedy Agyapong are being kept by the people in charge.
“The reason why we are aggressive is that monies sent by Hon Kennedy Acheampong to be shared among delegates to secure votes are not going on. We don’t know why monies meant to be shared across board are being shared among some selective people.
When your name is in the selection book, they will quietly call out your name to meet and take your money (GHȻ300 or even more), which we believe it is not right,” says a polling station chairman.
He continued saying that Kennedy Agyapong should not blame delegates at Bechem for failing to vote for him. This is because the people he put in charge of sharing the tokens decided to be selective.
“This is one of the reasons why aspirants express bitterness towards delegates for taking their money yet failed to vote for them. We are using this platform to inform the Hon that the money meant for delegates has been used for a different purpose and should hold the people in charge of money accountable if he gets fewer votes from Tano South and North.” A delegate lamented.
