The CEO of Ghana Publishing Company Limited and aspiring Member of Parliament for Nkawkaw constituency Mr. David Boateng Asante has urged electorates especially Nkawnkaw voters to desist from voting non-performing MPs into office in the upcoming 2020 general elections, amid revelations most of those in office have failed to develop their various jurisdiction.
According to him, most MPs do not represent residents’ concerns and interests but rather their personal interests.
The call was made On Wednesday, 29th January 2020, at Nkawkaw NPP Office when Mr. David Boateng Asante was accompanied by Nkawkaw constituency delegates and a number of youth groups to pick up his forms to contest the NPP Parliamentary Primaries of Nkawkaw Constituency to be given the opportunity to represent the good people of Nkawkaw.
He took this step after years of wide consultation with key stakeholders and indeed, it was a joyous moment when he was welcomed home to represent the good people of Nkawkaw in the Parliamentary Primaries.
“I look forward to kick-start the campaign in earnest. I admit it is going to be an arduous task but we will deliver just as we have done in the past” he added.
