Mybrytfmonline.com has observed worrying phenomena at Koforidua Effiduase Polling station 1&2 in the New Juaben North Constituency of the Eastern Region where some applicants come to the registration center with their children majority of them not wearing nose masks.
Apart from the lactating mothers who carry their babies to the registration center other children age above five years also follow their mothers to the center.

Also the aged and heavily pregnant women, as well as persons with disabilities, still queue at their various Registration centers to register because the EC Municipal Office was yet to start registration for these vulnerable at the office as announced due to technical challenges.
Apart from this, there is strict adherence to the preventive protocols at the center following the arrest of some applicants without a nose mask by the District Police Commander yesterday.

The Member of Parliament for New Juaben North also a Deputy Local Government Minister, Nana Adjei Boateng who has been touring some center told the media that the registration process has been smooth and satisfied with the time spent by an applicant to get registered.
He was however not happy that many constituents do not understand the movement plan of the Electoral Commission hence roaming from polling stations yet to have their turn to other polling stations to register.

The Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben North, Comfort Asante on her part said her only concern was inadequate chairs for the applicants to sit while waiting for their turn. She however said efforts were underway to help mitigate the challenge.
