A young man has been shot dead after “juju” powers against gunshot failed.
The incident happened on August 25, 2023 at Ayiem a community in Mpohor District in Western Region.
Source familiar to the incident say, six young men including the deceased Kwadwo Amoh went to river Subri to test their juju powers against gunshot
Suspect Emmanuel Quayco, 22, was given a single barrel gun loaded with an AA catridge ammunition to shoot at Kwadwo Amoh alias Mallam, 28, unfortunately the juju powers failed hence gundown.
He died instantly but all suspects runaway leaving him in the bush.
Suspect Emmanuel Quayco has been arrested and detained by police to assist investigation whilst efforts underway to apprehend other suspects now at large.
