The Hon. Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, responsible for Lands and Forestry, Hon. Akwasi Konadu, has embarked on a three-day working visit to the Western Region.
During the visit, Hon. Akwasi Konadu will be engaged in a series of activities. He visited the regional offices of both the Lands Commission and the Forestry Commission, and held meetings with their respective staff.
Additionally, the Deputy Minister will visit the Monkey Hill area, which has been proposed as the site for the Takoradi Zoo, and inspect the Subri plantations.
Accompanying him on this tour are key officials, including the Acting Deputy Executive Secretary (Operations) at the Lands Commission, the Technical Director of Forestry at the Ministry among others.
