Rescuers from the Sekondi Metro Fire Station were called in to retrieve the lifeless body of a 38 year old pregnant woman from a well behind the wall of Nab Gas Filling Station, around Essikado Round about in Sekondi.
Employees of Nab Gas during change over, went to fetch water from the well and discovered the lifeless body in the well.
They raised an alarm and informed Connect FM host, Paa Kwesi Simpson to contact GNFS for assistance.
The Rescuers brought out the lifeless body of the pregnant woman a few minutes after arriving at the scene and handed the body over to the Police who assessed the body before sending it to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital morgue for preservation and investigation.
It is not clear how the Pregnant woman who is known for fetching water from the said well regularly fell into it, as investigations continue to unravel the mystery behind the unfortunate incident.
