Ghana U-20 goalkeeper Gregory Obeng Sekeyere has rallied support for the Black Satellite ahead of the crucial WAFU Zone B clash against Burkina Faso.
The defending champions must win at all costs on Saturday to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
Speaking after the side’s defeat to Nigeria, the Berekum Chelsea shot-stopper called on Ghanaians to support the team ahead of the final Group B game and has promised they will do everything possible to beat Burkina Faso and qualify.
“Ghanaians should not be afraid, going into our next game, we assure them of a victory against Burkina Faso”
“We will go all out and make sure that we pick the three points at stake and qualify. They should support us in spirit and surely, we will make them proud” he said.
The Black Satellites suffered a 2-0 defeat to Nigeria in their first game at the GSK Stadium.
Goals from Ibrahim Muhammad and Ahmed Abdullai in each half of the game ensure the Nigerians pick the points at stake.
