The Principal for Chrispharma MCA Training Institute, Mr. Solomon Oburi has stated that their institution is committed to meet the demands of pharmaceutical care and regulation in the country.
To him, the institution has been reviewing and designing various approaches for teaching and learning for students.
Mr Obiri said that Chrispharma MCA Training Institute is focused on training ethical and professional pharmacy support staff with high levels of integrity, character, skill, and competence for an evolving pharma market.
He continued that Chrispharma MCA Training Institute rely on a pool of Pharmacists managing various portfolios within the organization to form the faculty to ensure transfer of rich experiences and expertise to students.
Mr Obiri indicated that the institution has adopted quizzes, mocks, presentations, group works, case studies as well as practical demonstration to enhance teaching.
As part of efforts to lessen the financial burden of students and parents for uninterrupted learning, Mr Obiri affirmed that the institution provides free students pack to all students which includes free learning and teaching materials, free school uniform, identification cards, T-shirts adding that students provided support in their internship placement as well as referrals for jobs.
Speaking at the 4th graduation ceremony for the 6th batch of students and matriculation for the 7th batch in the Eastern Region, Mr Obiri said that graduates have been employed as medical sales representative in reputable organizations such as Tobinco, Asterisk life sciences, OA&J, community pharmacies both public and private, chag hospitals and health centers and are excelling.
He entreated the graduates to be focused, creative, imaginative and hard working to gain a high reputation.
“You have not only earned a certificate today, but you have also earned the respect and admiration of all those whose lives you will touch with your compassion and dedication,’’ Mr Obiri added.
The theme for the fourth graduation was entitled ‘The MCA As a Faithful Steward’
