The Acting Director-General of the Public Affairs Department of the Ghana Police Service, ACP Kwesi Ofori has said that the service is determined to take out bad nuts.
According to him, the Ghana Police Service is working to regain public trust and confidence by putting measures in place to rid the service of bad nuts.
ACP Kwesi Ofori affirmed that they will groom their officers into being courteous and incorruptible adding that they are determined to take out the bad nuts in the service.
He stated that officers who breach the ethics of the profession will not be spared.
In an interview with an Accra-based Television station, ACP Kwesi Ofori averred that the service will not condone policemen caught engaging in criminal activities.
He indicated that they are very much aware of the ethics of the profession, and so they will make no exceptions for anyone found culpable.
ACP Kwesi Ofori Spells out that they will go all out to make sure that they smoke them out.
“The service has planned ways to track officers who continue to breach the ethics of policing,’’ said ACP Kwesi Ofori.
