The leadership of Rotational Nurses and Midwives Association (RNMA) has expressed dissatisfaction against the management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) with payment plans for rotational nurses and midwives in the country.
The leadership says NSS own about twenty-five percent of the July 2022 batch of its members.
A statement issued and signed by the National President of RNMA indicated that the 2023 batch have not received their allowances for the past five months.
The statement pleaded with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance and the Executive Director of NSS to immediately rectify the cause of the delay of the unpaid and allowance.
The leadership urged its members to remain calm and committed in supporting the Ministry of Health.
