Apostle Dr. Edward Amoh Inkoom of the Journey of Hope Ministry, Anyaa Palas Town Branch, Ga Central Municipality, provided a striking perspective on the terrible economic realities that many Ghanaians face.
He spoke passionately to his congregation, painting an accurate representation of what the typical Ghanaian faces each month. He described the current condition of affairs in Ghana as nothing short of “magical.”
“You earn GH₵1,000 per month. Rent costs GH₵1,000. Utilities cost GH₵ 500. School costs for three children cost GH₵2,000 every term. Housekeeping and daily costs cost GH₵2,000 per month. Despite incurring monthly expenses of GH₵6,500, you remain alive and active” he stated.
Apostle Inkoom underlined that only God’s divine hand could account for such survival, which defies human understanding.
“This is not just about budgeting — this is a supernatural mystery. Truly, we are living a magical life in Ghana. Not by our strength, but by the unseen hand of God.”
Many people have found great resonance in this message, which highlights the faith and resiliency that sustain Ghanaian families under everyday adversity.
