The Third National Vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Osman Masawudu, has stated categorically that the NPP can’t snatch power from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) without internal unity.
Osman Masawudu called on flagbearer aspirants in the party to end internal conflict as the party prepares strongly to defeat the NDC in the 2028 general elections.
To him, without internal unity, the party will not achieve its common goal ahead of the 2028 elections.
Speaking to Kwahudehyie Nana Yaw Obeng on the Bryt Adekyee Morning Show, Osman Masawudu cautioned the flagbearer aspirants to cease fire, unite, and desist from tribalism as far as the flagbearer race is concerned.
He condemned the tribal dynamics made by Dr. Bryn Acheampong, who is currently in the race to lead the NPP into the 2028 elections.
Osman Masawudu affirmed that Dr. Bryn Acheampong’s credibility has been put into question, adding that northerners have lost trust in him. Osman Masawudu maintained that the flagbearer hopefuls must upholdthe integrity of the party.
