Communications Director of Aduana Stars, Evans Oppong has confirmed the mutual termination of coach Yaw Acheampong’s contract.
The move come from the club’s unimpressive performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
Acheampong managed just two games, losing four and drawing six games after 12 matches into the season.
In an interview, Evans Oppong disclosed his outfit has parted company with Acheampong by mutual consent after a string of poor results in the league.
“It’s official now, we have mutually terminated the contract coach Yaw Acheampong. We didn’t sack him as reported earlier. We wish him all the best in his next job” he said.
Aduana Stars is expected to announce a new coach by the close of the week.
