The Eastern Regional Head of the National Identification Authority (NIA), Mr. Ntim Ofori, has disclosed that they have suspended the operation at the various district offices in the country.
To him, NIA is currently operating at headquarters and regional offices for the Ghana card registration in the country.
Speaking in an interview with Bryt FM, Mr. Ntim Ofori added that NIA is running a premium service in all the regional capitals adding that applicants must pay an amount of 280 Ghana cedis.
He indicated that the premium service is an instance service for applicants which is going to enable Ghanaians to have their card in the same day after registration.
”Applicants who are seeking to replace their cards or who want to change their particulars are to pay an amount of 110 GH₵,” he said.
Mr. Ntim Ofori urged Ghanaians to take the premium service as an opportunity to register for the Ghana card.
