The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has promised to make responsible use of its parliamentary majority win in the general elections scheduled for December 7.
The NDC has promised to propel Ghana’s development and wealth.
The declaration was made by Fifi Kwetey, the general secretary of the NDC, during a press conference on Sunday.
With its recently obtained mandate, the party is still committed to serving the country properly, according to the former member of parliament for Ketu South.
Additionally, Mr. Kwetey encouraged Jean Mensa, the chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), to avoid needlessly postponing the results announcement.
“We have secured a very significant majority and a majority that we aim to use responsibly and for the progress of the people of Ghana.
“The process as far as the presidential result is also concerned, we will urge the chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa and her team to make sure the declaration is not unduly delayed because we know for a fact that nothing can be done about it because it is already in the bag,” he said.
