The National Democratic Congress, NDC will soon appeal the UK High Commission in Ghana to deport the children of Brigadier General Michael Opoku, Head of the Central command of the Ghana Armed Forces.
This move by the main opposition NDC follows allegations made against the above mentioned security capo of planning with the ruling NPP to rig the December presidential and Parliamentary elections.
The NDC Communications Officer Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi on Tuesday addressed the media and made several revelations against Brigadier General Michael Opoku of plotting a lot of mechanisms to rig the elections in the Ashanti region.
Emphasizing the party’s stand on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem, the deputy Communications Director of the NDC Eric Adjei revealed the latter was behind the Ayawaso West Wugon election violence in 2020, hence the party’s worry in speaking out on the alleged plot.
He warned the latter and the NPP not to think of rigging the elections since the NDC will match anyone or group of persons boot for boot should they dare to go against the laid down procedures.
