Mr. Kwadwo Daase, the Eastern Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) has assured his outfit will serve Ghanaians better in 2023.
He explained the GWCL will improve on their services in the coming year to enable Ghanaians have access to water especially in the harmattan season.
Speaking to Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Bryt fm, Mr. Daase warned illegal miners to desist from galamsey activities that has led to pollution of water bodies in the winter season.
He revealed galamsey activities can lead to water shortage especially with regards to the Birim river.
He cautioned customers to take good care of water to help prevent water shortage in the harmattan season by desisting from using clean purified water for other purposes such as; washing of cars, watering of flowers and many others..
Mr Kwadwo Daase however, urged customers to pay their bills regularly to help improve the activities and services of the company.
