National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yamin, has called on New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament to put their seats up for a challenge.
“We are not asking for a by-election, but one of the NPP’s MPs should put their seat to a challenge, and they will know that the NDC is a serious political party. We will beat them in the Ashanti region for them to know that we will give them a showdown in the region in the 2028 elections,”
He said this while speaking to party faithful at the NDC’s final rally in Ayawaso East.
According to him, unlike the NPP’s quest to make the Ghanaian people feel the government is doing nothing, the people of Ghana know how effective the party has been and will reward the NDC.
Joseph Yamin used the opportunity to urge the people of Ayawaso East to step out in their numbers to vote for the NDC on March 3, 2028, to tell Ghanaians that they appreciate the government’s good work.
