The Ashanti Regional campaign team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Augustus Nana Akwasi Andrews has said that the NDC campaign team in the Ashanti region are fully prepared to campaign massively to win votes for their presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama and his running mates to succeed in the upcoming election.
Speaking on an Accra based radio station, Mr Andrew indicates that their new strategy for their 2020 campaign will be like how the Jehovah Witness people do by moving from houses to houses to spread the Gospel hence they will also spread the Gospel of campaign policy.
President Akuffo Addo has said that this 2020 election is about track record hence the NDC is compiling all projects in the region on a leaflet to tell their people what they have done.
According to him, they will enter every house in humility, and they will leave leaflets to them after talking to them.
He continues that they have already launched all their campaign teams in the various constituencies and with that grass root level has made their members very responsible and also it has reduced the workload on them adding it is their first time the NDC has formed a campaign team to the grass-root level in the region.
