It seems the newly elected national executives of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are determined to march the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) boot for boot come the 2024 general elections.
This follows comments by some of the newly elected executives on some major media outlets a few days after ascending to their various positions.
“We will only speak the language NPP understand in the 2024 elections if they try to be violent”, Joseph Yamin, the National Organiser of the NDC has emphasised.
The General Secretary Fiifi Fiave Kwetey had earlier warned on TV3 that the NDC will face the NPP should the NPP repeat violent incidents at both Ayawaso West Wugon and Techiman South constituencies.
According to some leaders of the NDC, the party cannot be complacent in the 2024 elections as such a mistake led to its defeat in 2020.
Meanwhile, the ruling NPP is also poised to win the 2024 elections having Broken the 8 campaign at the back of their minds.
