Asante Kotoko board member Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi has said that his outfit will only sign Medeama’s Justice Blay if there is the need.
The combative midfielder after a stellar 2019/20 loan season with the Porcupine Warriors returned to his parent club Medeama SC.
His outstanding performance for the club made him the fans favourite player.
With the two time Africa Champions failing to sign the Blay on permanent basis, the supporters of the club expressed their displeasure for their inability to sign the midfield gem.
However, Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi after watching Kotoko’s 2-1 defeat to ES Setif at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday lamented that they are going to work hard to sign fans favourite Justice Blay.
“If supporters are calling for Justice Blay we are going to work on it and get him” he said.
“We will look at the contract available with Medeama and discuss it with management and see if there is the need to bring Justice Blay, we will do it. Whatever we have to do to win matches, make Kotoko relevant that is what we are going to do” he said.
