Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the Minority leader in Ghana’s parliament, has assured Ghanaians that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will uphold the faith placed in them.
Dr. Ato Forson thanked the Ghanaians for their overwhelming support in the 2024 general election in a Facebook post on Monday, December 16.
He reiterated the party’s commitment to providing responsible and conscientious service to the country.
Following the recall of Parliament for important discussions, Dr. Ato Forson provided his assurance.
He used the occasion to thank Ghanaians for their substantial vote support for the NDC and to declare the party’s commitment to continued accountability and openness.
He asserts that the NDC is well aware of the duty that has been placed upon them and will do everything in their power to fulfill it.
He further emphasized that by opposing impunity and greed, the future NDC government will respect the Ghanaian people.
Dr. Ato Forson emphasized the party’s goal of a government model that puts the welfare of the populace first while advancing justice, equity, and progress.
“We will not betray your trust; we will serve with humility and integrity”, he stated.
