Bofoakwa Tano striker Welbeck Takyi says he will wait until the end of the season before he decides on his future.
Takyi has been outstanding in the ongoing season scoring 9 goals in 11 matches in the Division One League.
His impressive run of form earned him a call up into the national team but was dropped along the line as the team continue their preparations for the upcoming 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
He has become a subject of interest for several clubs in the local scene including giants, Asante Kotoko.
But according to him, he is bound on helping his club achieve their target of qualifying to the Ghana Premier League before he decides on his future.
He affirmed until he achieves the target set by the team he will not decide on his future.
“This season, at Bofoakwa we are working on a project, ‘Bofo Beba Project’. We want to qualify Bofo into the Premier League. Therefore until we finish the season, the project is the only thing I have in mind. At the moment that is what I have focused on and together with the boys, we have decided to make history. Until then I can’t decide anything.” He told Wuntumi Radio/TV.
