Ghanaian songstress Wendy Addo popularly known as Wendy Shay has stated categorically that she is taking the FDA and Gaming Commission to the Human Rights court.
Her reactions come after the Gaming Commission placed a ban on Ghanaian celebrities from endorsing sports betting in the country.
Wendy Shay who is clearly unhappy of the directive insists that the Commission is forcibly taking food from their mouths and it’s about time something is done at least they ‘Celebrities’ are also Ghanaians.
According to the Gaming Commission, “Operators shall not use celebrities in their advertisements to entice the general public to gamble”, a new press statement from the Commission read.
The ‘Bedroom Commando’ hit maker after seeing the press statement took to twitter to pour her frustrations as she hints on taking both the FDA and Gaming Commission to court.
‘GH Celebs can we put our differences aside and fight the system ?? I guess we don’t know how powerful we are … Well, I’m taking the FDA and Gaming commission to the Human Rights Court Celebs are also Ghanaians and deserve better !! Ghana wakes Up !!” she tweeted.
