The Municipal Chief Executive for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai municipality Hon Alfred Amoah (Yaw Broni) has said that he and the security agencies are conducting undercover investigations into recent insecurity activities such as thievery, murder, and other crime which are rampant of late in Bibiani, the municipal capital.
Interacting with the media, he opined that his outfit won’t relent but would operate ruthlessly until a positive result is achieved and will publicize their findings.
That notwithstanding, the MCE entreated all and sundry to be on guard and prioritize their safety (security) by going out in pairs, avoiding walking in darkness at night as they are also doing their best to provide enough street lights in various communities.
Hon. Alfred Amoah further urged residents to release information to the security agencies if they sense ambiguous activities by unscrupulous people within their communities.
On the other hand, he disclosed that they have also identified some ghettos (wee bases) which are not easy to fight against nevertheless they would by hook or crook rampage all of them across the municipality.
