The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency in the Western North Region Lawyer Alfred Obeng Boateng, has inspected progress of work on the 5 kilometre Sefwi Tanoso Praso-Sefwi Adupri road project which is ongoing, and being executed by Obeng Brothers Construction Limited.
The inspection was to afford the MP as to how work on the project was progressing after sod cutting and the contractor moved to the site.
The project would link Sefwi Tanoso Praso town to Sefwi Adupri which connects Bassengeley to Bibiani.
He was much impressed with the beginning of work with the drainages.
“The project is fully funded by my own pocket money and the government will pay it back after completion and is to be completed in 12 months.”
The Legislator Alfred Obeng Boateng expressed the believed that the works, including excavations and clearing which was gathering momentum, showed the project would be speeded up and completed on time to ease the burden of communities along the stretch.
Sub-contractor Mr.John Asare, the CEO of A3,AG construction limited who has been awarded with the drains, was happy that workers are seriously working hard and promised that they would finish the project at the right time.
