The Western North Regional Chairman for the National Democratic Congress NDC, Hon.Micheal Aidoo, popularly known as BIG AIDOO on Sunday 13th August 2023, has cut sod for the construction of a multi-purpose community center for residents of Sefwi Asempanaye near Awaso in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
Speaking with the media after the ceremony, he said he was grown up in Sefwi Asempanaye and as a native he decided to build this durbar center to form part of his Corporate Social Responsibility, will feature a seating capacity of over five hundred of people, restrooms and a borehole to serve the community.
He emphasized that the center would serve as a hub for social and economic activities, providing a platform for the youth to engage in productive ventures.

Some residents of the area added that when the project is finished, it will serve the community in terms of funeral events, political gatherings, wedding ceremonies, church crusades and other programs which are being held in the open space.
