Nana Ato Ware II, the Chief of Basengele in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the western north region, urges the police to apprehend and charge individuals involved in smoking weed, drug trafficking, and causing violence in the Bibiani township.
Nana mentioned that it’s common for these young guys to be armed at all times.
He stated that they have been known to brandish guns, knives, cutlasses, and other harmful items during confrontations with their victims, even over minor issues.
Whilst addressing the press, the traditional authority added that he would take upon himself to fight these illegal behaviours which seem to take over the Bibiani township.
Nana Ato Ware II restated that the police should not show leniency towards the troublesome youths who are disturbing the residents’ peace in Bibiani.
“I will personally volunteer to fight these hooligans in the Bibiani township who are terrorising innocent souls here. I will call on the police to be on task to avoid ensure those nuisance acts and perpetrators are brought to face the full length of the laws,” he said.
