Ashanti Regional Secretary of the Ashanti Teachers Front (ATF), Mr Michael Mensah has said that what President Nana Addo has achieved far outweigh the eight years achievement of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, in terms of infrastructure in the second cycle institutions in Ghana, the achievements of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo are unmatched to previous administration under the former President John Dramani Mahama.
Ashanti Teachers Front (ATF) has discounted claims of massive infrastructural development in the second cycle institutions as claimed by Former President John Dramani Mahama.
Members of ATF made this assertion to the press in the Ashanti region after according them, heard the flagbearer of the opposition NDC, Mr John Mahama saying that he did more than what the current government is doing in terms of infrastructure development.
In addition to what the members said, Mr Michael Mensah said that during the tenure of the NDC government, teachers worked for three years and got paid for only three months leading to teachers absenteeism soaring up.
“Mr Mahama never reduced teachers absenteeism,” the Secretary of ATF disputed Mahama’s claims of reducing teachers absenteeism under his era.
