Wilfred Osei Kwaku ‘Palmer’, a former member of the Black Stars management committee insists he has no confidence in Otto Addo.
The Black Stars struggled under Otto Addo during the 2025 AFCON qualifications, where Ghana succumbed to three defeats and three draws in six matches.
Despite qualification setback, the Ghana FA has opted to retain Otto Addo, while implementing major changes to the technical team.
Asked if he has confidence in Otto Addo, he replied, “Not at all. Technically he is inexperienced”
“We threw Kwasi Appiah out of the Black Stars on the count that he wasn’t good. If Kwasi Appiah wasn’t good and he has been able to teach Otto Addo a soccer lessons, then was it sensible taken such decision” he quizzed.
The Black Stars next competitive matches will be against Chad and Madagascar in March in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
