A delegation from the World Bank, led by Division Director Robert Taliercio O’Brien, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwame Agbodza.
The meeting focused on discussing ongoing and future road projects funded by the World Bank, as well as exploring new partnership opportunities to address the country’s road infrastructure challenges.
Hon. Agbodza expressed gratitude for the World Bank’s continued support in transforming Ghana’s road network.
He also emphasized the need for increased funding and technical assistance to accelerate the completion of critical projects that will boost economic growth and improve connectivity across the country and sub-region.
The World Bank delegation reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Ghana’s development agenda, prioritizing road infrastructure, and pledged to work closely with the Ministry to ensure the successful implementation of funded projects.
