World Cocoa Foundation led by its Country Director, Dr Betty Annan, has embarked on a mentorship program as well as the donation of educational materials to the school pupils of the Nyamkumasi DC A/B Basic School in the Assin South District.
The exercise forms part of the World Cocoa Foundation’s vision to make significant contributions to the educational needs of pupils especially in deprived communities, through the provision of stationeries and relevant learning materials, and mentorship programmes.
As a Professional Teacher, the Central Regional Minister, Justina Marigold Assan who joined the team found it refreshing to engage young people especially school children in a bid to positively touch their lives to become responsible adults in future.
She also leveraged the unique opportunity to share some words of encouragement and advice to the pupils to remain focused in life to achieve their aspirations.
