Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah is confident Black Stars will perform well at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana is returning to the global showpiece after missing out in Russia 2018.
Ahead of the mundial, a chunk of Ghanaian football legends have thrown their weight behind the team to excel in Qatar, with the former Juventus star no exception.
“We will [do well]. Watching our players now they are all in top form and this is the time I have been seeing Ghanaians playing watching the Champions League and the Europa League,” Appiah told Joy Sports.
“That means they are doing well and I hope they will take the same form to Qatar.”
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group H alongside 2016 European champions Portugal, Asian giants South Korea and Uruguay.
Ghana will open their World Cup account against Portugal on November 24 before taking on Uruguay and South Korea respectively.
The technical team is expected to announce the final 26-man squad for the Mundial on Monday, November 14.
