The Black Stars have begun camping in Abu Dhabi ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
Twenty-three (23) have reported to camp at the moment with the rest expected to arrive on Tuesday afternoon.
The national team head coach, Otto Addo on Monday announced the final 26-man squad for the mundial after last Friday’s date was changed.
Two local-based players, that is; Danlad Ibrahim and Afriyie Barnieh made up the list after several calls for their inclusion into the team due to their outstanding performance in the local league and with the Black Galaxies.
Meanwhile, some players who were expected to make up the final list were seen booted out of the squad leading to many commentaries about the selection.
Mubarak Wakaso, Jeffrey Schlup, Baba Iddrisu, Jojo Wollacot, Richard Ofori and many others could not make it to the World cup.
The Mundial is expected to begin on Sunday, 20th November 2022.
