In an effort to have a successful international business expansion, a world known Shoe manufacturing company has launched a new factory at Akosombo in the Eastern region of Ghana.
The most common goal of the World Shoe Company is to acquire more customers, boost its sales, and increase revenues internationally.
This development by the World Shoe Company will enable Ghana to expand its markets, strategic partnerships, and many other benefits to increase local and global competitiveness.
The President of the World Shoe Company, Manny Ohonme said that the decision of the company will help drive socio-economic innovation and transformation in Africa and other countries around the world.
Mr Ohonme affirmed that the factory will serve an economic transformation.
Mr Ohonme indicated that the establishment will help reduce unemployment rate among Ghanaians and eradicate a higher number of self-reliance in the country.
He said the move is a great opportunity for the company to manufacture shoes in Africa as an inspiration to bring development and transformation to the world
Speaking at the launch, President and Founder of World Shoe Limited, Ghana, Kojo Benjamin Taylor stated that the team wanted to use the initiative to change the perception of the world on Africa continent.
He said that the lack of business opportunities in Africa has pushed the company to expand its branch in Ghana adding that it will define the perception of Africa.
Mr Kojo Benjamin added that manufacturers must form a very successful economic space in developing countries to succeed in economic development plans.
He continued that the company will employ over hundred thousand (100,000) people and use it as an instrument to revive Africa.
Mr Kojo Benjamin said the company is focused on moving the factory to an industry.
He called for government collaboration to utilize its purchasing power to help the company to achieve its vision.
The Member of Parliament for the Asuogyaman, Hon Thomas Nyarko Ampem on his behalf commended the team for the establishment of the factory in the constituency.
He said that the factory will employ many youths in the constituency and country at large.
Hon Thomas Ampem pleaded with business operators to extend their business to Akosombo in the Eastern region.
