The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has announced to hold Job and Career Fair 2021 on 9th and 10th September 2021.
It will be held at Accra International Conference Centre and would witness youth across the country gather to network as well as find the various career opportunities available to them, according to a statement from Mr. Pius Enam Hadzide, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA).
The statement said “The mandate of the NYA is to spearhead the comprehensive development of Ghanaian youth through the formulation and implementation of various empowerment policies and to enhance the capacity of the youth to participate in decision making at all levels.
The job fair is planned to take place in selected regions in the country, after the success of the Accra edition.
This is for persons looking for a job, internship, career guidance, or advice.
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) was established under the Youth Employment Act 2015 (Act 887) to empower young people to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic and sustainable development of the nation.
Its objective is to support the youth between the ages of 15 to 35 years through skills training and internship modules to transit from a situation of unemployment to that of employment.
