President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said the introduction of the Year of Return has made Ghana the centre of attention across the globe and grateful it was successful.
According to the president, they played host to people from all over the world, joining in a spectacular celebration.
“Beyond, the Year of Return will continue to build a lasting bridge between Ghana and the Diaspora to rake in even more investments for the country. There is a new enthusiasm for Ghana across the world due to the Year of Return,” he averred.
Ghanaians in the Diaspora are very well involved in the building of Ghana’s economy.
“Let us never forget that the remittances from Ghanaians abroad, constitute an important part of our economy,” he advised.
